Where can I get rubber blending tools?
In the art studio I draw at we have rubber blending tools for pastels. I am creating a small studio at home and I can't find them! They have long plastic grips and have rubber tips. You use them for blending chalk/soft pastels and I just can't find them I've looked in stores and online. Does anyone have a link for where I can buy them?
Paper blending tools are more effective and you can dispose of them or refurbish them easier. I haven't seen rubber blending tools in a number of years, but in my experience with them I found them a bit too 'rubbery'. Depending on the media you're working on, I found them to drag undesirably on your medium, however that said, the benefit is the ability to wash them up. But I believe they did not take off in popularity so they are harder to find these days.
I'd also suggest q-tips for blending. Very cheap, very disposable and readily available.
